Transcoding Queue Key Feature in PitchBlue™ 2.6 Release

LA JOLLA, CA, January 22, 2011 – VIGOR Systems Inc., innovators of PitchBlue™ and the MagnuBox™, distributed the anticipated version 2.6 to all MagnuBoxes on Jan. 22. The new release provides multiple time-saving and problem-solving tools to users.
New Features Include:
• Transcoding Queue – users can now see when a show is in the queue ready to be transcoded (can move programs throughout the queue based on priority, and ability to remove unneeded items from the queue)
• New interface with darkened control rooms to improve the viewing experience (reduces after image effects from going back and forth between light and dark screens)
• Redesigned recording schedule, which allows users to view the status of recordings and their format sheets
• Playback page, which shows what is currently queued for playback
• Timestamp during playback (to help alert users playing out to another device; they will now be able see if they’re nearing the end of a playback and then be able to shutoff recording device)
• Dancing Mailbox – message box which “dances” until a message has been opened, making it easier for distributors to communicate with stations
The 2.6 release is only compatible with Safari 4 or later, Chrome 3.0 or later, Firefox 3.6 or later and Internet Explorer 8 or later.
